OFFICE ASSISTANT & RECEPTIONIST

ADMINISTRATION| FULL TIME

Assist in managing the day-to-day administrative aspects of running the business. This position is the first point of contact for the company and requires a positive attitude, a desire to work as efficiently as possible, and excellent client-facing communication skills.

This position is expected to possess excellent customer service skills and maintain composure in difficult situations. Must work efficiently and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer phone inquiries, direct call, and provide basic company information positively and professionally.
  • Greet incoming clients, vendors, and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Assist with maintaining and organizing office common areas..
  • Assist with organizing travel by booking accommodations and reservations as required.
  • Assist with maintaining office supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels and anticipating requirements.
  • Performs general office/clerical duties as needed such as proof reading for completeness and accuracy and create, edit, and update spreadsheets and databases.
  • Pick up and deliver mail daily and assist with processing and distribution.
  • Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access; monitor logbook, issuing visitor badges, and screening solicitors.
  • Assist with planning company events, meetings, luncheons, and employee team building activities or special projects.
  • Assist with arranging schedules for meeting space and conference rooms.
  • Assistance with other departmental administrative needs.
  • Match purchase orders and receiving documents with vendor invoices and record the necessary information.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience handling office responsibilities, experience in customer service, or related field.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars.

COMPUTER SYSTEMS ENGINEER

ENGINEERING| FULL TIME

Responsible for the development activities associated with computer product lines and customer-specific solutions from concept through product end of life. Including system design and integration of system components. This position serves as a central resource for all aspects of identifying computer hardware and coordinating activities across engineering and manufacturing teams. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades, maintenance of the product or product line, and failure analysis.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing the technology lifecycle of new products, features or enhancements from conceptualization, requirements gathering, product specification, implementation review and release.
  • Evaluates technical options and represents business requirements to the organization through responses to the market requirement documents and detailed functional specifications.
  • Evaluating hardware for use in target environments. To include I/O connector and cabling requirements to meet operational and customer specifications.
  • Responsible for coordinating and developing test plans for third-party testing, writing test procedures, and acting as main point-of-contact with testing authorities. Drives the initial prototypes, debug, and resolution of manufacturing defects and drives enhancements to the products.
  • Works closely with manufacturing, electrical, and mechanical engineers in development of new products and modifications of existing products.
  • Interfaces with the OEM manufactures, preforms compatibility testing for new components and tracks OEM component life cycles.
  • Interfaces with Operations personnel to help identify component selection for new and existing products
  • Completes Certificate of Volatility and Mean Time Between Failure reports as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in hardware design or systems engineering.
  • Strong ability in organizing and managing multiple projects, setting priorities and working independently under aggressive timelines. Ability to drive cross-functional development efforts through conception, planning, implementation, and sustaining.
  • Strong Communication skills with the ability to write and analyze requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, test plans, and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of Workstation/Server hardware architecture, systems, Operating System platforms and device drivers. Thorough understanding of appropriate technologies, vendor products, and competitor’s offerings.
  • Experience with multiple CPU architectures.
  • Experience with system hardware in a design, development, test, or equivalent role that requires detailed analysis and debug of issues, leading to root cause identification and resolution.
  • Ability to analyze options for critical design elements and features and determines optimum selection.
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD test procedures and requirements.
  • Basic lab experience to include soldering.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
MS or BS in Computer Science or Engineering. (Experience may be considered in place of education).

INTEGRATION TECHNICIAN – LEVEL 1

OPERATIONS| FULL TIME

Integrate computer components into sub-assemblies and systems using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Utilize hand held tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gun
  • Maintain inventory of product in work stations
  • Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Other duties may be assigned as necessary

INTEGRATION TECHNICIAN – LEVEL 2

OPERATIONS| FULL TIME

Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications. Assembly and fabrication takes place in a specific area of a production line for a manufacturing organization. Follows and relies on instructions from pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Job functions may require some exercising independent judgment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Utilize hand held tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gun
  • Maintain inventory of product in work stations
  • Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow departmental ESD practices.
  • Meet the daily production schedule and maintain quality standards.
  • Must have a good understanding of the Integration Configuration Guidelines and have the ability to communicate that knowledge into orders.
  • Provide basic system troubleshooting when needed.
  • Daily review of all pending job project assignments on the bench for timely inspections.

Other duties may be assigned as necessary

  • Performance of Integration Test Technician Level 1 duties to keep abreast of assembly methods and maintain system integration skills.
  • Have an understanding of the daily inspection schedule.
  • Comply with company quality in the performance of in-process sub-assembly inspections on a variety of computer system components, hardware, and operating systems.
  • Provides and maintain departmental quality chart for feedback and improvement.
  • Communicate with departmental personnel to provide constructive feedback of inspections completed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One to three years of mechanical assembly experience may be required
  • Basic reading skills
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Familiar with established motherboards, SBC (single board computer) processors, Input/Output cards, peripherals devices, configuring BIOS, jumpers, switches, cables and all related drivers.
  • Install Microsoft Operating System onto established hardware platforms.
  • Ability to use system utilities to perform various tasks for completing a job; as imaging hard drives, building RAIDS, and running test diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Some College and/or Trade school related courses in the area of computer technologies.
  • Specific technical or vocational training or certification may be required; may be required to pass ruler test.

INTEGRATION TECHNICIAN – LEVEL 3

OPERATIONS| FULL TIME

Skilled computer assembler, technician, system troubleshooter, system inspector, planning skills and Team Leader. Follows and relies on instructions from pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Interfaces with production control of job status. Knows the daily production schedule to meet shipment dates. Understands the manufacturing quality standards. Communicates with departmental personnel work schedule and activities. Works under some supervision. Primary job functions can typically require exercising independent judgment.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Utilize hand held tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gun
  • Maintain inventory of product in work stations
  • Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures

  • Performs Integration Test Technician Level 1 and Technician Level 2 duties to keep abreast of assembly methods and maintaining system integration skills
  • Integrates a variety of computers system components, hardware and software
  • Provides and maintains a departmental quality chart for feedback and improvement
  • Understands the daily inspection schedule
  • Performs in-process sub-assembly Inspection to final inspection to company quality standards a variety of computers system components, hardware and installed operating systems
  • Provides and maintains a departmental quality chart for feedback and improvement.
  • Communicates with departmental personnel to provide constructive feedback of inspections completed
  • CSV (Customer Service), skilled communicator verbally (via phone) and written (emails) production support for system troubleshooter for repairs
  • Attention to details on documenting service calls
  • Wiring Harness and cable connector assembly with an understanding of IPC/WHMA-A-620 requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
